Transparency
Hello. My name is Ranzetta and I am the founder and designer for Lygophilim. This is the transparency page, where I lay it all out for you, no secrets.
I believe transparency is an important part of an ethical business model. It is unfortunately way too easy for clothing brands today to gloss over where, and by whom, their products are made and how they source their materials.
I worry everyday about children being forced to work to make the 5$ tank top that someone will wear 4 times and throw in the garbage because it is falling apart.
I want to do my part to stop these practices. Every human life has equal value, no matter your origin, ethnicity, orientation or identity.
And this starts with sharing information, so that you also have the knowledge of how, where, and by whom, your clothes are made.
Why do our products cost the price they do?
We care about paying people decent wages and we care about where our materials come from.
The process of designing and producing clothes has numerous hidden costs that aren’t always obvious to figure out.
There are brands out there that will cut costs on production by paying the people that make them only a few pennies per hour and by using cheap materials. We think that’s unethical.
We want you to know exactly where every penny you spend is going. You'll find a detailed product breakdown HERE.
